According to IFAD’s Rural Competitiveness Development Project, in the past period, strawberry planting was realized in the area of ​​the municipality of Čelić, on a total of 300 dunums (30 ha). To date, 300 greenhouses have been erected and planted, each with an area of ​​1,000 m2.

The investment was realized within the approved BUSINESS PLAN (BP), with co-financing from the RCDP project and with the participation of the local community and end users, in order to strengthen competitiveness in the sector of berry production in FBiH.

The implementation of activities was carried out by the Office for Project Coordination (PCU), established at the Federal Ministry of
Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry in cooperation with LEADERS in the field.
